Mingxin the Little Monk｜The Shadow in the Dark

At night, Mingxin takes his lantern to the outhouse. A huge shadow appears on the wall, and he is frightened. The Master lifts his lantern: “Come closer. Look carefully.” The “ghost” was only a tree. The Master says, “The dark is not what we should fear. It is the shadow inside our own heart.” A gentle story about fear and peace.
